Social Responsibility
Brandvillage takes its social responsibilities very seriously. We have established a code of social responsibility which all suppliers working with our businesses must comply to.
As a fashion company operating globally, we recognise that we must ensure all of our ethical and environmental activities are well managed across our business. We acknowledge that our commitment to our social responsibilities is key to contributing to our community and a better way of life. It drives us to deliver better policies in our business from energy efficiency to supply chain ethics; from fair trading to charitable donations.
We undertake environmental reviews of our operations on a regular basis and ensure that the environment is not adversely affected by our activities. Measures have been taken in our manufacturing and distribution warehouses for energy conservation and re-use of packaging materials.
Fair Trading
We provide our employees with safe working conditions, fair policies regarding appointment and renumeration and ethical workplace standards. There is no bias towards age, gender, colour or marital status in our employee policies. We are also committed to working within the guidelines set out under the Disability Discrimination Act and work hard to make our goods and services accessible to all. Brand Village only works with organisations and suppliers that follow international standards in human rights and conservation. We strictly follow wage regulations of the countries where our products are manufactured.
Support community
Investing in the community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support our business. As successful members of the community, Brand Village has a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good.
We feel so strongly about this that it has been a longstanding practice of our company to make on-going donations, in a variety of formats, to community projects and charitable organizations.
